Darren is the recipient of an Arts Council Agility Award to support research exploring queer memory and LGBTQ+ histories in Cork. The project combines archival research, interviews, mapping, drawing and 3D modelling, alongside collaboration with the Cork LGBT Archive, to document the relationship between memory, place and queer history.
