Located in Middleton, this project reimagines the 3 bed semi-d as modern family home, the L-shaped living space allows for open plan living while still feeling distinct, the project proves an extension is not always the answer but considered layout and choice intervention can unlock all the space you need.

The working within the existing footprint brings its own complexity, especially when maintaining the layout of the upper floor, but the design shifts the axis of the home while maintaining visual connection, concealing stepped stairs landing through architectural expression.
